Unlocked Version One UI Beta SM-96OU1 - The Samsung+ app kept me in a loop after accepting the terms and conditions for the beta program. No update. I finally got it working by uninstalling the app, clearing my cache partition and reinstalling the beta version from the play store.

This seems like something I should just wait for. So many issues with this beta.

Maybe. It's pretty nice but there are definitely bugs. I've reported a couple to Samsung.

Can someone create a manual download I can flash via recovery?

Clearing app cache or system cache?

First uninstall the Samsung+ app

Then wipe the Cache partition.

Here are instructions

Turn off the device.

Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Powerkey.

When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.

Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.

Press Power key to select.

Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.

When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.

Press the Power key to restart the device

Then go to the play store and find the Samsung+ app. Scroll down and select the option to be beta tester for the Samsung+ app so you get the latest version.

When you open the app it should ask you to sign in with your Samsung account. The One UI beta banner should appear on the main screen. Once you scroll through the terms and register, you should receive a confirmation you've been accepted. To confirm you can visit the profile section of the app by pressing the small person icon in the upper right.

If the One UI Beta is mentioned at the bottom of the profile page, you are in.

Then the update should be available to manually update soon. Mine took about 5-10 minutes.

I'm not sure if these steps were necessary to get it to work or of I coincidentally got in but I was trying to join all day and kept going through a loop of accepting the beta and checking for manual updates.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Damn it. I ended up manually flashing the update without registering to the beta because of this problem. I wish I had seen this a couple hours ago.

Can anyone confirm beta is still open? Thinking of getting an unlocked note 9 today to load it but don't want to buy if slots are filled.

I reverted back to Oreo. Beta was great visually but I couldn’t use it as a daily driver. Also hate the fact the apps are huge!!! Looks promising but let’s see if the short month brings lots of updates to the beta. Reverting back was a nightmare too! The Smart Switch PC doesn’t work so had to use Odin to go back to an older build.
