I just got the Community complete series on Blu-Ray. In the commentary for the pilot episode, they mentioned that Annie's character was inspired by Elisabeth Hasselback. Conservative with a little bit of sexy.

@mods can we get a “rice nazi” flair???

Sure, you're free to request it as a custom flair.

The sub pretty much melted down after Michele's win. She had been an edgic favorite, and half the sub was happy to see her crowned. But the other half were furious that Aubry didn't win.

The final 4 fire twist was spoiled months in advance by Redmond, and while discussing it here was restricted, it was still widely known before it happened.

damn bro, you got jokes and class. nice.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What do you expect when you have livestock for a mascot? Especially in a home to great barbecue.

probably not “jokes” of eating someone’s pet, but go ahead, that last one was a real knee-slapper.

My apologies. I will get the vegan option the next time I'm getting barbecue in North Carolina.

New season, new charts

Leo & Jamal are the Racers of the Week for the premiere. In addition to finishing in first place, they also showed off some clever strategy with their fake argument.

Art & JJ were the losers of the week, unable to recapture the magic of their previous race. Almost everything that could go wrong for them did, including the Hail Mary attempt to take the penalty and hope for the best.

The top 3 was rounded out by Colin & Christie and Becca & Floyd, who showed why the TAR teams have such a strong advantage over the BB and Survivor field.

The bottom 3 included Rupert & Laura and Chris & Bret, who exemplified the inexperience the Survivors bring to the race.

Can the maybe option be removed from these surveys please? When let's wait and see what happens next week is frequently the most common assessment of a move that's not an obvious slam dunk or obvious disaster, it makes asking the question this week uninformative and kind of pointless. Rafe, have an opinion, just say yes or no. It would be more interesting if people had to pick and we could see if the consensus was accurate. People hedging their bets doesn't really tell us anything.

Good suggestion, I will take it into account moving forward.

his stanley cup raise was only 300k. That's... not enough

The market was completely different when he signed the contract. Babcock and Q hadn't signed their massive, 5 year+, $5 M+ contracts. With the coach market exploding, he definitely deserved a bigger salary.
